WHY CLASS     TOP
The very first idea to develop CLASS was born acknoledging difficulties of technicians met during hazardous area classification activities according to CEI EN 60079-10.
New IEC codes is deeply different from the previous one. Reference is made  to conceptual difficulties and to calculations never covered before. Solution to these problems has been found in a software, for its easiness, repetiveness, safety and time saving  characteristics

THE PROJECT     TOP
CLASS project has been developed with a strong client oriented philosofy. Users are encouraged to suggest improvements that would help their day to day usage of the software.
CLASS development has requested several months of multi-disciplinary competence such as engineering and IT knowledge

PEOPLE INTERESTED TO     TOP
A lot of people is using CLASS.
Technicians and engineers are helped in hazardous area classification activities.

HSE responsables are using CLASS to verify potentially hazardous areas. Several governament companies are using CLASS as usefull tool.

THE FUTURE     TOP
Implementation of new futures is under study:

• overall classification project including flammable materials, emission sources, calculations and reports

• indoor detailed ventilation calculation

• graphical output

• a better multi languages support
